  • Provide key thought leadership on Digital Marketing strategies and tactics
  • Contribute expertise on current ecommerce industry best practices
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans
  • Participate in the development of content that aligns with evergreen, brand campaigns and integrated marketing initiatives: blogs, emails, How-To guides
  • Collaborate with other Marketing Team Members and vendor partners in producing compelling and vibrant marketing campaign messages relevant to our consumers and ensure implementation throughout marketing funnels: ads, emails, landing pages, website banners, social posts
  • Manage social influencer campaigns and content contributors to assure that a steady pace of high-quality, brand-right content is delivered via email and social media channels
  • Translate consumer insights and learning into innovative and creative content ideas such as brand partnerships, experience activations, product demos
  • Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact within the organization for cross functional partners to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement, and test ecommerce initiatives
  • Collaborate and execute social media and digital ad campaigns
  • Plan and ensure implementation of ongoing, annual and seasonal programs for social media and digital advertising, website content and email campaigns
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the cross functional team supporting the ecommerce strategy
  • Manage the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns
  • Develop and oversee the effective planning, QA and execution of content across the websites and online marketing campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all web content publishing
  • Partner with internal and external creative teams to bring proposed marketing plans for social media and ecommerce campaigns to life, driving awareness and sales to online, in-store and through our Customer Care Center
  • Partner with the Merchandising Team to optimize assortment, promotion and pricing strategies
  • Partner closely with Merchant and Marketing Teams to ensure ecommerce efforts align with overall marketing goals and complement all marketing and in-store displays and promotions when appropriate
  • Collect and communicate work requirements for digital and ecommerce projects; work with subject matter experts in creating content, and managing the review process as applicable
  • Develop a social media calendar and manage the day-to-day execution to ensure consistent, high-quality, brand-right engagement across all owned and external social channels
  • Manage written and visual content and creative assets; draft/edit copy and/or images for all social media channels and other marketing efforts as needed (website, email, etc.)
  • Manage social media analysis and metrics with internal and external partners; monitor and track all components of digital marketing and follow-up with strategies to improve performance.
  • Establish, review and interpret all aspects of web analytics related to ecommerce and communicate relevant information to Team Members, leadership and cross-functional partners


Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in communications, advertising, marketing, business or PR and/or equivalent work experience.

Experience: A minimum 5 years’ experience in a marketing communications role, preferably in a B2B or B2C, retail environment, with a minimum 4 years of experience in the digital environment and 3-4 years working directly within social media.

  • Ability to identify new areas of ecommerce opportunity
  • Possess outstanding analytical skills and strong experience interpreting results
  • Experience with MS ecommerce and WordPress platforms and HTML a plus
  • Demonstrated success with marketing campaigns that enable increased awareness, customer engagement and product recognition resulting in business success
  • Effective project management and time management skills that feed into planning and tracking of ongoing campaigns and development of marketing deliverables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, writing and proofing skills
  • Highly self-motivated contributor who works well as an individual and within a team environment
  • Strong strategic, creative, and analytical thinking with experience in tactical planning
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative thinker with an innate visual aesthetic
  • Must be proficient inusing a variety of popular social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+, and more
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Demonstrated technical skills to perform the essential functions of the job
