Whole Sale Account Executive (EAST BAY) - Submit Resume

PURPOSE: The Account Executive is the primary manager of our relationships with our customers. This includes the prospecting and development of high potential accounts into strong relationships with Company. The Account Executive is also the customer's primary source of communication and support involving all aspects of the relationship with a heavy emphasis on individual loan file issues, loan program information and technology training and support.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Account Development : Identify and develop customers with high potential given Company product line, technology and service capabilities. Drive high profit product line, repeat business and pull rates in excess of 50%. (30%)
• Product : Develop and maintain thorough product knowledge. Educate brokers on Company product line and how to use Company product line to provide product solutions to realtors and borrowers. (20%)
• Technology : Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Company automated technology Train brokers on the benefits and use of Company automated systems. Provide brokers strong ongoing technical support. (20%)
• Service: Provide outstanding customer service including prompt follow-up on broker calls and issues. This also includes primary responsibility for customer communication and coordination with the inside customer service team. (20%)
• Branch Support : Contribute to market research, branch and regional projects, team building, communication and the overall operation of the branch. (10%)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education
High school diploma.

Work Experience

• Five years mortgage banking experience.
• Two years wholesale lending experience.
• Experience with niche and/or sub-prime product
• Experience with automated mortgage technology
Technical Competencies
• Aptitude and interest in mortgage technologies including a working knowledge of common automated underwriting and Internet applications.
• Laptop PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Solid understanding of niche loan programs and parameters
• Knowledgeable in the areas of real estate mortgage origination, processing,
• underwriting, closing and pricing activities

Work Environment:
• Standard business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with attendance at conferences during evenings and weekends.
• Given the nature of the work performed, it is required at times to work overtime.
• Extensive travel will be required throughout the assigned territory.
