Technical Life Science Editor - Submit Resume

Bay Area Biotech has an exciting opportunity in the life science world. Our Life Science Group is seeking an experienced technical life science editor for a full-time staff position in Marketing Communications.

The position offers a range of interesting projects. The various assignments may require copyediting, developmental editing and fact checking. Projects range from editing of marketing and promotional materials and product catalogs to technical publications. Strong copyediting skills are essential. Applicants should be completely familiar with biotechnology and with applications and products used in life science research. PhD. or strong science background is preferred.

Familiarity with management of web-based content is a plus. Online editing experience and knowledge of Quark Xpress a plus. The projects will follow the organization’s style guidelines. The position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadline and to work closely with writers, marketing staff, and designers/art directors.
