SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER - Submit Resume

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plan for assigned product/product line. Function as the internal and external brand champion and expert in all phases of brand marketing and business maintenance/ development activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Interpret and understand product marketplace.
• Develop product business plan that defines quantitative objectives, strategic direction and key metrics for quantifying success.
• Create and implement tactical programs related to plan.
• Build and sustain productive relationships with key national physician thought leaders.
• Collaborate closely with the sales, sales management, legal, regulatory, and clinical departments for management of product line.
• Develop and manage approved marketing advertising and promotional budget.
• Manage activities and results with outside vendors, including but not limited to, Advertising Agency, Medical Education, and Public Relations.
• Monitor market performance, competitive reactions, customer responses and adjust to plan, accordingly, to maximize results.
• Serve as chief liaison with the internal or external manufacturer of assigned product regarding Company’s U.S. business development activities.
• Manage the daily activities of assigned Product Manager(s) and or Associate Product Manager(s) to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• B.A. or B.S. degree. MBA highly desirable.
• Previous personnel management experience.
• A minimum of five to seven experiences in product management in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. Previous sales experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective oral presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills required.
• Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and meet multiple deadlines under pressure.
