PRODUCT MANAGER - Submit Resume

Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementation of strategic business plan for assigned product/product line.   Collaborate with Senior Product Manager to champion all phases of brand marketing and business maintenance/ development activities.  Participate in strategic business plan development.
• Fully understand strategic business plan for assigned product/product line.
  Add value, whenever possible, to strategic process by working collaboratively with Senior Product Manager.
• Lead efforts to define tactical programs that will fully support the strategic business plan for the product/product line.
• Support sales rep and Senior Product Manager relationships with key national physician thought leaders. Develop individual relationships with appropriate physician customers.
• Closely collaborate with Senior Product Manager to influence the sales, legal, regulatory, and clinical departments regarding promotion of the product line.
• Work within specified budgetary parameters on all assigned projects.
• Manage activities with outside vendors, including but not limited to, Advertising Agency, Medical Education, and Public Relations.
• Collaborate with Market Research on gathering, assessing and distributing appropriate competitive intelligence.
   
   
  REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

• B.A. or B.S. degree. MBA highly desirable.
• A minimum of three years of experience in product management in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. Previous sales experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective oral presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills required.
• Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and meet multiple deadlines under pressure.
