Disaster Recovery Specialist - Submit Resume

The Disaster Recovery Specialist position is a critical component of the Company Professional Services group. The individual will be responsible for developing different Disaster Recovery and Compliance Consulting offerings to drive revenue and provide better service to our customer base. In addition, the individual will work with our premier customers and other internal departments to develop and execute disaster recovery plans and compliance consulting engagements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of Disaster Recovery and Disaster Recovery Testing offerings,
• Respond promptly to Disaster Recoveries and follow through on all assigned tasks, including customer management, system and network administration, recovery, maintenance, etc.
• Provide Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity consulting to Company Customers,
• Maintain Disaster Recovery and Disaster Recovery Testing procedures,
• Some recovery examples might be recovering Domain Controllers with Active Directory, Exchange, or SQL.
• Become knowledgeable in all Company products

Requirements:

The position will require a customer focused, analytical minded person, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is a must.
• B.S. degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
• 3+ years customer support and/or project management skills
• 3+ years working with back-up/recovery or business continuity products
• Ability to multi-task and work under dynamic conditions and constraints with minimal supervision i.e. strong analytical, prioritization, time management, and follow-up skills
• Basic network administration experience across all Microsoft Windows platforms
• Familiarity with MS Windows 2000/2003 Servers, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Linux/UNIX, Novell Netware, Oracle, and Active Directory a plus
• Big 5 Consulting Experience and/or compliance consulting experience a plus
