PURPOSE:
Supports administration, coordination, and application of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices. Assists with benefits administration and enrollment processing. Assists with overall coordination of the company’s recruiting activities; effectively supports the recruiting process to find qualified candidates to meet the needs of the company.
Essential Job Functions:
• Responds to employee’s benefit questions, assists with resolution of problems regarding access to or payment of benefits, assists employees with paperwork related to filing medical claims, and processes enrollment forms and change requests.
• Assists with communication of benefit programs changes and updates.
• Maintains employee files and database as assigned
• Posts job openings internally and externally
• Reviews resumes, screens candidates, and manages the submission and tracking of resumes; coordinates candidate interview with hiring managers
• Manages EOE activities including but not limited to tracking all external hiring and internal transfers/promotions to ensure complete, auditable information that is in compliance with government regulations is on file. Annual update of AAP.
• Coordinates temporary staffing, including processing of agency invoices.
• Performs general clerical duties.
• Provides Reception relief as backup when needed
• Performs other duties as assigned by HR Director.
• 2 –3 years related HR experience.
• Basic knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
• Proficient with MS Office; Ceridian Source 500 experience a plus
• Prior experience in recruiting and staffing
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
